The Virginia Radiological Society (formerly the Virginia Chapter, American College of Radiology) is a statewide professional organization dedicated to improving the health of patients and society by making imaging safe, effective and accessible to those who need it. Our passionate members are composed of diagnostic radiologists, interventional radiologists, radiation oncologists, medical physicists and nuclear medicine physicians practicing in the state of Virginia. Your active participation is needed. If you are not currently a member, we invite you to join us in our efforts! Learn more.
The Society is actively involved in legislative discussions involving health care delivery in Virginia. Society members meet with legislators and become a trusted resource for bills affecting Radiologists in Virginia. Lobby with us on Wednesday, January 24th. The Society has a PAC that is a critical tool in our advocacy efforts.
Make plans to join us August 2-3 in Richmond for our 2024 Annual Meeting. More details coming soon!
The VRS is a supporter of the ACR’s Radiology Leadership Institute (RLI). We have a scholarship fund to send radiologists to courses that train radiologists in non-clinical areas to help prepare them to be leaders who will share the future of radiology to ensure quality, elevate service and deliver extraordinary patient care.
